Budajenő

20.September morning we had to alternatives. Either visit a few building in the framework of European Heritage Day, or go hiking. Finally we decided by the last one. It was a nice autumn day. We a found a way, which haven’t been known before. We went by bus til Nagykovácsi, then found the green sign (later a green square) next to the church. We thought if we are off the track, there will be an earlier arrival to Budajenő. Finally, we got over Budajenő, as well as Telki.



There was a village centre, took some photos, then we paid attention to a great pressing. It was a village day and grape harvest festival. The trip was over.





People everywhere invited us to taste their wines, and the dishes were also delicious. The village was full of girls and boys wearing traditional costume. Later we looked into the programme which was on the stage. After an eventful day, we returned to Pest in the early evening.

Run To The Beat in London

Today Ors had the next halfmarathon in London .



Run To The Beat is a half marathon starting and finishing by the Milennium Dome in Greenwich. The route takes in all the historical sites of Greenwich as runners pound through the streets to the sound of live music.
Bands and musicians will be dotted along the race route to provide music with a beat designed to motivate the runners. There will also be a fun carnival atmosphere on the day to keep runners inspired. With seventeen live music stages along the 13.1 mile route and over 12,000 runners

Aujourd'hui Örs eu le semi-marathon prochaine à Londres.
Run To The Beat est un demi-marathon de départ et d'arrivée par le Millenium Dome de Greenwich. La route passe dans tous les sites historiques de Greenwich comme Pound coureurs dans les rues au son de la musique live.
Groupes et musiciens seront réparties le long du parcours pour offrir de la musique avec un beat destiné à motiver les coureurs. Il y aura également une atmosphère de carnaval du plaisir sur la journée pour garder les coureurs inspiré. Avec dix-sept scènes pour la musique vivent le long de l'itinéraire 13.1 mile et plus de 12.000 coureurs

Lyon's Halfmaratnon/Semi-Marathon de Lyon

The Lyon Halfmarathon passed off. The weather wasn’t very nice, spitting rain, +15 degrees. The directing wasn’t qualitative. The organizers changed the route almost in the last minute, the participants didn’t get medals and photos weren’t taken, although this was the French championship. A Portuguese runner won the competition, by the time of 1:09:06. On the route there was no level difference, that is why Örsi came in the place of 1226 from the 3860 participants, which is hís best time: 1:45:30



Le Lyon Semi-marathon dissipée. La météo n'était pas très gentil, la pluie de cracher, de 15 degrés. La direction a non qualitative. Les organisateurs changé la route presque à la dernière minute, les participants n'ont pas obtenu les médailles et les photos ne sont pas prises, alors que c'était le championnat français. Un coureur portugais a remporté la compétition, au moment de 1:09:06. Sur la route il n'y avait pas de différence de niveau, c'est pourquoi Orsi est venu à la place de 1226 de la 3860 participants, ce qui est son meilleur temps: 1:45:30

Half Marathon /Semi-Marathon

In Lyon will be the 9th international halfmarathon running on Saturday. More than 3,500 amateur and professional runner trying to perform the 21.1 km . Örs enters for the race. He'll travel from London on Friday to the town where he studied for 4 years and has a lot of friends.

Balaton- highlands/haut pays

At the weekend we took a trip to the Balaton- highlands. We went on an excursion to the Szentgyörgy-hill, Káli-basin, and the Penisula of Tihany. Over the 3 days we walked almost 50 kilometres, there were several beautiful sights. Here are some photos:

Le week-end nous avons fait un voyage au haut pays de Balaton. Nous sommes allés en excursion à la montagne Szentgyörgy, Kali-bassin, et la presqu'île de Tihany. Sur les 3 jours nous sommes allés a pied près de 50 kilomètres, il y avait plusieurs beaux lieux. Voici quelques photos:

Nike halfmarathon / semi-marathon 2009

The first big competition of the autumn running season, where 7000 regularly in training runners prove on 21 km. Nike Budapest International Half Marathon became an important and decisive sport event in 1996. The significant long distance run-outing in Central East Europe especially attracts women. The distance of the Nike Budapest International Half Marathon can be accompished individually (21,0975 kilometre) and in pairs (13 and 8,1 kilometre). The 3.5 kilometre long run Nike City Park Circle for joggers is also part of the event; one day before the outing the 4 kilometre long Metro International Morning Run tunes enquirers and participants up for the sport episode. Traditionally several thousand runners participate; nearly half of the runners come to Budapest from abroad.



The route of the run is particularly scenic and passes the main tourist sights (Heroes' Square - Hősök tere; Andrássy Avenue - Andrássy út; Chain Bridge - Lánchíd; Buda Castle - Budai vár; Margaret Island - Margitsziget; and Parliament - Országház). The event, accompanied by concerts and healthy lifestyle exhibitions, is traditionally closed by a firework display.

Le Semi-marathon, durant lequel la souffrance ressentie en passant la ligne d’arrivée s’oublie vite et où seul le plaisir du succès reste. La distance du semi-marathon est complétée d’un jogging des supporters de 3,5km, et d’une possibilité de courir la distance du semi-marathon à deux.



Mitteleuropas größter Halbmarathon hat diesmal zum 24. Mal in Budapest stattgefunden. Insgesamt mehr als 5000 LäuferInnen haben am Wettlauf teilgenommen. Neben der 21.095-Meter-Halbmarathon-Strecke konnte man den Staffellauf (2 Läufer) wählen, und es gab auch ein 3,5-Kilometer-Fun Run für Kinder und Familienmitglieder der Halbmarathonläufer. Die Veranstalter haben dieses Jahr eine neue Strecke gewählt, die am Ufer der Donau und durch das Stadtzentrum, an Budapests wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten vorbeiführte, die zum Weltkulturerbe gehören.

...is the zoo's day .The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden, which was established in 1866, is one of the oldest zoos of the world.Enjoying a parkland setting, Budapest Zoo is one of the city's leading tourist attractions and is particularly popular with families holidaying in this part of Hungary. The entrance to the zoo is close to Heroes Square and is hard to miss, consisting of a tall gateway, flanked either side by giant stone elephants. In total some 2,000 animals live in themed enclosures, which include a large African Savannah, complete with giraffes, elephants and rhinos. This is actually one of the world's oldest zoos and was first established in the 1860s, as a private collection of animals. Budapest Zoo has become famous for its rather eye-catching Elephant House, which is close to the Palm Tree House and features oriental-style domes covered in turquoise Zsolnay ceramic tiles.



...est le jour du zoo. Le zoo a ouvert en 1866, puis a fait faillite, et a été racheté et refait entièrement en 1912, dans un style Art nouveau splendide. L’entrée, ornée de sculptures de deux éléphants, est à ne pas manquer ! A l’intérieur, la visite est délicieuse et particulièrement intéressante pour les enfants. La grande surprise reste l’interactivité du zoo. Dans la serre, par exemple, on déambule parmi les singes, oiseaux tropicaux ou chauves-souris, tous en liberté. Toujours dans la grande serre, on nous invite à pénétrer dans la maison des serpents, muni de quelques conseils au préalable (ne pas faire de gestes brusques, etc.). Ils sont tous en liberté, ils sont tous à caresser... Plus loin, les enfants peuvent aller nourrir les moutons et les biquettes du zoo, enfermés dans un petit enclos. Pour ce qui est des lions, des tigres, des ours polaires et autres, on se contentera de les regarder nous regarder, derrière des vitres qui ont remplacé le grillage, dans la partie basse des enclos. Les grandes traces de pattes sur ces vitres laissent supposer que les félins doivent parfois s’amuser à faire peur aux voyeurs ou piquer des colères très spectaculaires... Un remarquable zoo en tout cas par la beauté de ses bâtiments et l’intelligence de sa conception.

Islande

L'Islande a déposé formellement jeudi sa candidature d'adhésion à l'Union européenne auprès de la présidence suédoise de l'UE, une adhésion que le gouvernement islandais vise d'ici 3 ans. Le ministre islandais des Affaires étrangères Össur Skarphedinsson a remis la demande islandaise à son homologue suédois Carl Bildt, dont le pays préside l'Union depuis le 1er juillet, lors d'une cérémonie à Stockholm, a constaté un journaliste de l'AFP. Reykjavik avait déposé vendredi via ses ambassadeurs à Stockholm et à Bruxelles sa candidature d'adhésion à l'UE, au lendemain du vote favorable, à une courte majorité, du Parlement islandais. Restait à effectuer le dépôt formel de la candidature. Si l'UE accepte la candidature de l'Islande puis donne son feu vert à l'adhésion, les Islandais devront encore se prononcer par référendum.
